Rev. Edwin Lacy

Pastor

 

Edwin Lacy was born and raised in the mountains of southwestern Virginia. He grew up in the Wytheville Presbyterian Church. After graduating from Virginia Tech, he played folk and bluegrass music professionally and semi-professionally until entering seminary in 1997. He received his Masters of Divinity from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in Iowa where he focused on small town and rural church ministry.

After seminary Edwin served small congregations in Iowa, Indiana and Virginia. In 2013 he founded and lead the Wild Goose Christian Community, a 1001 New Worshiping Community sponsored by Abingdon Presbytery that presents the Good News of Jesus Christ in a context celebrating Appalachian heritage and culture. Edwin has also served as consultant for both Abingdon Presbytery and the Presbytery of Baltimore. Since moving to Maryland in 2017, he has served as Pastor to Hope Presbyterian Church in Arbutus and as Interim Pastor to Harundale Presbyterian Church in Glen Burnie

Linda grew up here in the Baltimore area,   She spent 16 years living in Myrtle Beach, but a few years back returned to live in Fallston.  She and her husband have 5 grown children.  She loves to travel and read.

​

Linda loves children and has worked as a substitute Pre-K teacher and daycare provider  She has extensive background working in the office as part of several small businesses.  She is versatile and organized, and brings a welcome smile to everyone who is part of our church and Pre-K community.

Tian Lu

Music Director

An accomplished international performer, Chinese pianist Tian Lu has appeared as a concerto soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician throughout Asia, the United States, Europe, and South America.  She has made numerous guest appearances with many orchestras across the world.  She and her husband, also a highly accomplished musician, have two children.  Tian is passionate about music of all kinds, and hopes to encourage members and friends of the congregation who have musical skills to participate in worship using their gifts.

Kelly Long

Pre-K Director

 

Kelly has a passion for helping children learn, with background in curriculum and professional development.  She earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in instructional technology.  Kelly taught for 15 years in Harford County and the private sector, and served as the Director of a Virtual Learning Center.  She created a learning coach program to help mentor teachers in their development.  Kelly is also a mom of a Pre-K graduate here at Fallston Community Pre-K and cites her love for this program and its great academic foundation as key reasons why she is delighted to serve as its Director.
