Children's Sunday School
"The education, fellowship, and support I have received from the church are priceless."
Children’s Sunday School is held September through the beginning of June during worship. The children are led by loving and caring teachers who have answered the call to lead young believers on their faith journey. The children learn to recognize God’s grace and respond in gratitude through Bible stories, music, and engaging discussion on a level that they can understand.
During baptisms and special services, the children join the congregation in worship to learn firsthand. Occasional sessions after worship include lunch and faith development opportunities for families. Children and families have learned about the Lord's Prayer, and the Meaning of Communion, during which they baked the bread we used for Communion the next week as one way to gain a deeper understanding of the Sacrament.
Adult Sunday School
Adult Sunday School meets each Sunday morning during the school year in the Fellowship Hall at 9:00 am, with light refreshments typically available. Topics include various books of the Bible, short topical studies, and discussion of current events. Currently the group uses an in-house study to look at the whole story of the Bible.
